Excess Charges:
- Excess Km's are charged at .25 cents/per km
- Late return charged at $25/per hour or part thereof
Toll Pass:
- purchase for $15/per day or
- tolls and fines will be passed on to the hirer
Hirer Requirements:
- Hirer must have a valid and current Australian License (P
license)
- Hirer must be over the age of 21 and younger than 75 years old
How To Hire:
- Present current license to Able Ute Hire Agent (see locations)
- Leave a $300 deposit using a valid credit card or cash
- (authorized deposit of $600 for overseas licenses)
- Decide whether to take the $25.00 / per day insurance excess waiver
- Decide hire duration – Min 2 hours
Important Reminders:
- Utes must be returned with a full tank of petrol unless
otherwise advised by agent
- Agents reserve the right to NOT hire to those deemed unsuitable
- Unexpected hire extensions must be phoned to agents ASAP
- Prices are subject to change without notice
Hirer Responsibilities:
- All deposits, toll passes, hire charges are paid in advance
- $25.00 / per day excess waiver reduces insurance excess to
$2600
- Deposits ($300) are not refunded in the event of an
accident
- All accidents/incidents must be reported to agent immediately -
non-compliance is a breach of insurance company rules - hirer may
face costs including repairs to third parties
- Utes are one tonners - repairs to vehicle
from
overloading will be paid for by hirer
